Background & Experience

Brandy Lyn was the 2010 International Yoga Champion and has coached athletes at the highest levels of competition.  She is recognized as a coach at the highest level by The International Yoga Federation.

Recent coaching results include:

  • 2025 International All-Around Women’s Champion

  • 2025 National Women’s Gold Medalist (both age divisions)

  • 2025 National Women’s Silver Medalist

This work is rooted in firsthand competitive experience and refined through years of coaching athletes under real performance pressure.

Coaching Philosophy

This is disciplined, athlete-centered coaching.

I value hard work, consistency, mental fortitude, and personal responsibility. I provide structure, clarity, and precise feedback. I do not micromanage, motivate, or hand-hold. The responsibility to execute belongs to the athlete.

This work is not for casual competitors or those seeking constant reassurance. I am direct and precise. Champions are built in the details.

I work best with athletes who:

  • take initiative

  • can train independently

  • respond well to direct communication

  • understand that progress comes from repetition and refinement

Coaching Structure & Expectations

I require that I am the sole coach during our work together. Multiple coaching voices create confusion, dilute clarity, and show up on stage as instability.

My role includes:

  • posture selection based on the athlete’s strengths

  • intelligent sequencing and routine construction

  • creating clean, efficient, and visually compelling transitions

  • refining execution through detailed feedback

I work best with athletes who can receive clear direction and apply it consistently on their own.

This is not the right fit for athletes who prefer:

  • a soft coaching approach

  • excessive validation

  • collaborative or consensus-based decision making

Training Format

Most coaching is conducted online, which allows for consistent, focused feedback regardless of location.

In-person training is highly recommended at least once, when possible, to refine details that are difficult to assess remotely.

Private session availability is currently limited to weekday mornings.
